OK, so up until now I haven't put anything in here, but I'm sitting on my own in yet another non-descript hotel room on yet another tiresome business trip and I was perusing around my fanfic account and discovered that there were quite a large number of hits on my profile page, which is terribly nice of you all but you were probably very disappointed with what you found here (ie nothing), so I thought I'd just type a few key facts in.

I'm a brit who lives in the US, well at least until the end of this year, when I shall be returning to the UK. This is causing me something of a dilemna at the moment because as much as I'm looking forward to going home, I only have "terrestrial" TV channels in my house in the UK, so I'm going to miss out on the second half of Battlestar Galactica Season 2: just in case you haven't picked up on it, this is currently my fave programme. So think of me when you're watching all those juicy new episodes!

I write for fun and relaxation. I'm not very good at coming up with original ideas, but give me a start and I can create a story around it, which is why I like writing fanfic. I like sci-fi, but I'm a romantic not a techy so my faves are things like BSG and Farscape (I can take or leave trek), although I'm still a sucker for Dr Who because it's what I grew up with. I'm probably twice the age of most of the people who visit this site, but then again age is just a state of mind and mine's generally somewhere between fifteen and twenty five! I work in a very data and fact driven scientific environment which is probably why going off into fantasy land when I come home helps me de-stress! I'm also very fond of exclamation marks!
