IN PROGRESS The night of the final task of the Triwizard Tournament, Snape returns from the newly-risen Voldemort to find Hermione Granger in his rooms. Together, they make plans to fight Voldemort and save the wizarding world. Eventual HG/SS, as little AU as possible, but more so as you get to the end, some OCs. Definitely EWE and HEA.

At the end, something happened. Hermione clutches at one fraying thread, uncertain whether she is Arachne or Persephone. What she does know is that she will keep fighting to protect her friends even if she must walk a dark path. *time travel*

Hermione grows up as a maths whiz instead of a bookworm and tests into Arithmancy in her first year. With the help of her friends and Professor Vector, she puts her superhuman spellcrafting skills to good use in the fight against Voldemort. Years 1-4. Sequel posted.
