[TFTIU #1] Stiles is a paramedic and Derek gets into a bike accident. It's kind of love at first sight.

Stiles is naked. He's naked in a room that's not his and in a bed that's not his and there's a hand lying flat against his lower stomach that's most definitely one hundred percent absolutely not his.

Stiles has to admit, he's a little disappointed to be waking up in the hospital. He'd been doing so well at avoiding it so far. Really, it seems kind of anticlimactic that he can't even feel anything wrong with him besides an all-over ache that's par-for-the-course when running with werewolves and a pounding headache. What is suspicious though, is how much Derek Hale seems to care.

"Stiles wasn't really sure what was going on, but if he had to guess, he'd say Derek Hale was losing his touch. The amount of times he'd been called out with the guy, presumably to stake out some new supernatural baddie only to have it be a false alarm, was starting to inch into the double digits." In which Stiles & Derek are dating and everyone but him knows it.

Derek's teeth snap just shy of his shoulder and he yells, shoving his hand right into Derek's face and pushing. "Come on, you guys just going to sit around and growl at each other or are you actually going to get something donetoday." Stiles looked at his hand and fake-gagged, wiping the spit onto his pants.

"The thing is… Derek is literally only 1 inch taller than Stiles. Maybe 2 if you count his stupid, reverse-duck-tail hair. But what Derek lacks in relative height difference, he more than makes up for with sheer presence." In which Stiles doesn't go out looking to prove himself as Pack, but winds up doing it anyway.
