Three years later, a lot has changed, not much for the better. The park has changed in ways that no one thought possible in their wildest nightmares. Owen makes his way back.

The aforementioned rest of their lives, after Claire and Owen get together in the aftermath. Sequel to Distress Flare. Considerably less smutty, a whole lot fluffier, and with a little angst because I can't resist. Has turned into quite a few parts, because apparently I have a lot to say.

Owen and Claire are sent to Masrani Global's headquarters in Manhattan to deal with press after the Indominus rex disaster. A midst all the interviews and meetings, Claire and Owen find the time to get to know each other better little by little. There's laughter, tears, joy and pain; will they overcome it all?

"...That was the worst fake break up I've ever heard." "It wasn't fake," she said. "I really am breaking it off." "You really are breaking off a fake relationship? Do you even hear yourself?" he asked incredulously. -Claire and Owen pretend to be a couple to fend off exes at a holiday party. They then have to deal with word spreading around the park and Claire wanting to save face.

A year after Jurassic World, Owen and Claire are drafted by InGen to spearhead a clean-up crew on Isla Nublar. The dysfunctional couple struggle to overcome their differences and work as a team. Unfortunately, Owen's sown a few too many wild oats. When a military stork drops off a sullen package at his door, he and Claire begin to realize the dinosaurs might be easier to deal with.
