My name is Mary Wagner, I am a writer. I may not have published anything yet, but I am working hard at it but I do not believe you have to be published to be a writer. I am amazed at what people can come up with and put to paper when they have no idea where they are going with it. Everything that I write that I adore has always been spur of the moment, where the hell did that come from? sort of writing.

I read a lot of fanfics, you can see below what type I like to read, since I also enjoy writing them. I am currently prowling Harry Potter fandom for some well written H/Hr fics, and as always Shink fics in Zelda.

I am overwhelmed by how many reviews I have gotten thus far, and after being on a long hiatus, I have decided to return. I am still working hard on my novel which I hope will be ready to send out at the end of the year. I am in the second draft of the second draft, if that makes any sense. :) I write according to my characters, and they sometimes rebel, which slows the entire process down.

Right now, Lazuline Rubies is getting edited because I feel it desperately needs it. It may be a slight overhaul, it may be a large one, but once I am finished, it WILL be finished. There are only two chapters remaining as of today, June 22nd, and they are the entire reason I started the story. Lime Fish will be updated sporadically, and I honestly can promise no more than this.

Look forward to many one shots, because I have some hidden on my computer that I intend to put up. I also want to try my hand at drabbles, and so I think I will try some of that.

I use fanfiction.net to improve my writing, and it has. Tremendously. From where I started, Random Lord of the Ringingness (a fic that is no longer up, for it was that bad) to right now, I can see a vast improvement. I may be a far reach off from a good writer, or even an okay writer, but I vow to get there someday.

To all the other writers out there, keep at it. You may get flames, you may get insults, but you WILL improve. You may become like your favorite fanfic author, or even favorite author! It takes practice, and the muscle has to be flexed every so often.

To my current readers, if you are here for Lazuline Rubies, please go back and reread it. I promise it is for a good reason. If you are here for Lime Fish, that is my favorite fic to write, but it was written as a challenge to myself, since I am no good at humor. I apologize right now for the horrible time it will take me to update it. If you are here for my oneshots, expect more. If you're just passing through, then hi!
