Hello profile viewers. Just call me Tetris (my former username was Lynniethe7th). I'm an introverted twenty-something, and rather old-fashioned at that (I crochet, cook, bake, write, and read.) I'm neither a television nor movie watcher unless someone convinces me to see something. I much prefer books and video games though, as I become immersed in those.

I'll say that I'm a lover of the fantasy/science fiction genres as reflected in my favorites and written stories. Some series I would myself a geek or nerd, as with Pokemon. Others I like but I'm not into enough to write about or read about them often, as with Harry Potter. I read the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, and I'm a fan of those works despite being a bit late to the party. Pretty much my story favorites reveal what I like, naturally.

My profile picture is the Ninetales sprite from Japanese Pokemon Red/Green.

My username, Tetris Effect, is a condition where one becomes so immersed in a particular subject that it patterns his or her thoughts and dreams. I found this to be an appropriate pen name, as I think often about the fandoms I like to the point that they often consume me.

I've deleted Domination, Ultraviolet, and Balance. They got little attention and I doubt I would return to them. I still have the stories, so it's not like they are completely lost. I know Ultraviolet was almost at 50,000 words, but Minecraft's popularity tanked a while ago. The only stories still going on the archive are about Youtubers. I won't ever watch or write about them.

I originally wanted to add another chapter to The Fuel, the Fire, but I forgot where I wanted to take the last chapter. It's been two years since I was interested in Yu-gi-oh, and I might never go back to that series for a long time or ever again, so it's considered completed and will stay that way.

Identity remains posted for memory's sake. It was my first story, and it alone started my hobby of writing.

What I've Been Doing:

I haven't been reading much on Fanfiction, but I haven't been idle considering writing. On August 16, 2018, I started a story inspired by my deliberations with Marvech93, who wrote Invisible and Shadowland. The story, which is titled Washed Up, is over 70,000 words now, still in its first draft. I really want to finish the draft by October and post the revised story on Christmas Day, but depending on my willpower, this might roll over into next year. Not to mention I promised my friend that she'll have the opportunity to read it first, and she's a slow reader. Eventually... it will be posted.
