Twilight's well wrought silver urn

Spills in the indigo skies,

A billion diamonds , in an aura burn

An unfathomable enigma - the Moon's auspice.

- Flames of Stardust

Ah, I see you've taken the trouble of finding my profile - so it's only fair that you know a little bit about me. Just enough to intrigue you, arouse your curiosity, and ...maybe make you think.

A passionate lover of books, cryptic riddles, poetry and consulting detectives, you can often find me at with a cup of tea , crouching over an old Moleskine , inky fingers dancing on the rim of the china.

In my spare time, I annoy my neighbours with arpeggios and and etudes, read hours of fantastic fanfiction , attempt to write poetry and work on physics equations.

MBTI - INTJ

Favourite season - Winter . Coat, scarf, gloves - but no short blonde ex-army companions (yet).

Favourite colour - Indigo

Favourite books - Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, and of course, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R Martin.

Favourite drink - Coffee. Black , no sugar - I'll be upstairs. Bring my riding crop, if you please.

(AND TEA. LOTS OF TEA.)

Favourite play - Hamlet, of course, despite brevity NOT being an indicator of my wit (...at least I hope I'm witty. XD)

And Macbeth - Stars, hide your fires; let not light see my black and deep desire

Favourite kind of men - Consulting detectives, snarky doctors with flame canes, green and silver robed boys with difficult pasts, Time Lords with amazing hair, and reaaaally hot Asgardians burdened with glorious purpose.

Favourite fictional women - Dagny Taggart , Hermione Granger, Anne Shirley, Irene Adler, Luna Lovegood and Liesel Meminger.

Favourite violin pieces - Barber's Concerto - presto in moto perpetuo, maybe Bach's Chaconne. Mendelssohn's concerto in E minor, however, remains right on the top of my list.

There, that's about it - wait, you're still here?

I don't mind making a friend or three, so please, go ahead and email me (chemistry.and.crimescenes@gmail.com) if you have an interesting idea.

Cheers!
