hey. I'm alice. I'm a broke college student who sometimes writes. I kinda suck at profiles in general, so here's a poem I really like:

I know it will be quiet when you come:
No wind; the water breathing steadily;
A light like ghost of silver on the sea;
And the surf dreamily fingering his drum.
Twilight will drift in large and leave me numb
With nearness to the last tranquility;
And then the slow and languorous tyranny
Of orange moon, pale night, and cricket hum.

A rustling as of thin silk on the sand,
The tremor of a presence at my side,
The tremble of a hand upon my hand:
And pulses sharp with pain, and fires fanned,
And words that stumble into stars and hide.

I've decided to delete all my fics. It was a long time coming. I've been dissatisfied with them (and my ffn account in general) for years, and the older I got, the worse it all seemed. I've got some new content I want to unleash into the internet, so I figured now is as good a time as any for a rebranding.

However, I know from experience how much it sucks to try to re-read something you liked when you were younger, only to find it gone. I have no intention of doing that to anyone who has supported any of my writing over the years. If you want to re-read any of my fics, then send me a PM or leave a review on the fic you want and I'll make sure to send it! Just please, respect my wishes and don't re-post them or share the files.
