![]() Author has written 22 stories for House, M.D., and Bones. -I've written for House and Bones. In House, I've created Charlotte to explore growing up and finding yourself. I took myself on a journey using the House cast, trying to convey one girl's story about learning how to be true to oneself. With Bones, I'm working with Kelly. She's had the cards stacked against her, but she doesn't care. The theme that I'm working with is actually a title to one of my stories, "Go, Move, Shift". The themes mildly echo my real life, and it's really how I work through my own issues. It boils down like this: Charlotte = who am I? Kelly = This is what I want, this is what I have: go. -I majored in psychology and I work with kids. That's all that's really important to me. I'm come home covered in magic markers and mod podge. All my jeans have hot glue or bleach stains on them and I'm okay with that. -"Always respond based on what I told you, even if you believe I'm wrong. Believing I'm wrong is encouraged, but respond as if I were right." -a direct quote from my law professor... it has become my mantra. -I have a secret desire to be Indiana Jones. A five year-old at work pointed out that I can never be Indiana Jones because I'm a girl. I can marry him, but I can't be him. That kid was a sexist pig. -Writing is my therapy. Thank you so much if you've read, reviewed or even enjoyed my stories. I have tons more stories planned, so let me know if I'm doing this in vain. Kelly (Invicta) AU: Kelly Booth grew up in an uncertain world, but was always certain of one thing: her older brother, Seeley. After years of being apart, watch them grow and adapt as life decides to throw up a few roadblocks. Building Booths - Possibly my favorite thing I've ever written. I'm not kidding, this and Guilty Pie. Booth learns what it means to be a good man: heart. And family. Jumping the Gun - Who ran away first? Who gave up? Booth or Kelly? Invicta - Meet Kelly. She's smart and she's independent, but she's in one huge mess. White Elephant - I wrote this because I want a Subaru and I don't have a Booth or Brennan to buy one for me. ;) Young Hearts Carousel - Booth never wants to get old. Kelly is chasing a memory, a moment. Brennan just wants to be there for them both. Go, Move, Shift - The most important thing a person can ever do with their life is make orange juice. (Partly inspired by a comment by mendenbar!) Statute of Limitations - How much time has to pass before the Booths can let go of the man haunting them: their father. Frivolous Litigation - Brennan is being sued, but is it really as frivolous as Kelly thinks it is? (I wrote this because I wanted Kelly to have a dog named Dexter. Really. That's my whole motivation for this story... that and I needed Jeremy and Kelly to move in together before my next story) Running the Ridge - A little flashback piece because I've discovered that I kinda love Jared. upcoming: Happily Ever After - AKA GimmeBanjo's Opus - Can Kelly and Jeremy get their happily ever after? Not if Fate has anything to say about it. My Charlotte (Bloody Nose) AU: Join the lifelong journey of Charlotte Carrington-House as she discovers and accepts exactly who she is and learns how to roll with the punches. I quote the great philosopher, Hannah Montana, "Life's what you make it, so let's make it rock." Guilty Pie - I'm kind of impressed with this one. I took something I had written in "Bloody Nose" and something else I had written in "Window Shopping" and turned it into a little back story. Also, Guilty Pie is known by my friends as Jack Daniels Pie... it's slowly becoming a legend. Legends are the things memories are made out of. Charlotte's Web - A little glimpse into the awesomeness that is House and a 6 year-old Charlotte Possibly Forever - I'm reading "Beautiful Boy" by David Sheff and there was a line that just struck me as poignant and it inspired a short little ditty. Alone, adj, In Bad Company - How I saw House's first night in his new apartment after Stacy/the leg Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen) - This one was actually inspired by a review from Alexandra.Wins. (Thanks!) Why did Charlotte keep in touch with Cuddy? How It Hurts - This one is kind of raw, but it had to be. It's also kind of short because I didn't know how to go on. Bloody Nose - The first in the series. This is how it all started. IDK, My BFF Anna Wu - I almost titled it Everyone Needs a Wilson or How Charlotte Got Her Groove Back One Is Too Many, A Thousand Never Enough - Charlotte gets a package, House gets curious. Happy Alone - "The shadows of doubt / On how things turn out / Are typically gray" While My Guitar Gently Weeps - Charlotte finds comfort in a strange place. Wild Horses - The sappiest little one-shot. The Rolling Stones rock my world. upcoming (and by upcoming I mean they're all half-written): One Line Wonder - It takes one line to write a good love song. A blast from the past reminds Charlotte. Encumber My Progression or Wait - Charlotte makes a deep discovery in order to save herself. Hair Ties - Blessed be the ties that bind... and if hair ties do the trick, then so be it. Window Shopping - ROAD TRIP! I have exactly one line written, but there's an idea in that line that I love. Plus, I've been watching old episodes of Bones, so I have rekindled my love of Stephen Fry, so I HAD to write an OC for him... Love For A Child - I was sick and feverish and listening to Jason Mraz when the idea for a story struck me. "I'd love to believe it's all about love for a child" Untitled Christmas Thingy - a glimpse into Christmas future. -on the backburner till I can get through the muck and mire of my other stories. |
