(Sequel to Color) It had been solitary, there, among all the black and white. It had seemed like his eyes were the interesting hue in the entire world then. Orihime came to find that she loved the color grey- it was just as dazzling as purple or pink or blue. Four years late, she's taken back to her world again... Well, things have changed. And yet, it's like she never left.

He was supposed to be gone. Scattered, ashes in the wind. She knew she just lonely, despite all the people around her. She was looking for him in her memory to push off the sadness that was settling around her, to convince herself she was home somehow. That had to be it, she was imagining him. So why, when she reached, did it feel like the air reached back?

If she's dead she'll be gone, and he'll be alone again and more gone than she ever could be in death. It will be different than before, a thousand years different, a thousand millennia different. It was ironic how he had said that he would become a soul reaper so that she wouldn't have to cry anymore when he was the only reason she cried in the first place. "I'm a snake." He told her. She thought that was the truest description he had ever given her.

She longed for color. Anything. A gentle blue, a light shade of yellow, a tiny dash of purple. Anything that would keep her from going crazy as she lived amongst the black and white. Black and white, black and white, black and white. That's all there was. It was driving her mad. He was the color. Brilliant, dazzling, beautiful green eyes...
