After fawning over Ray, Felicity goes back to the loft with Oliver to check on Thea during 3.19 (Broken Arrow). One Shot.

This is technically a follow-up to my previous story Isn't She Lovely, but it can easily be read alone. Slightly inspired by my niece spending the weekend with me. Stiles and Lydia's little girl spends the night with her Uncle Derek.

Oliver loves his daughter. She is the brightest part of his day, this most perfect thing he's ever created a symbol of his undying love for his wife. She's growing every day, slowly leaving behind her baby girl status and becoming a toddler, and she won't be his little girl anymore, and now she's about to speak and... ...and he just needs her to shut up for the next five minutes.

Just when she thought things were getting better, Spencer faces a new nightmare. How will she face being taken from the people she loves? What will it take to beat the monster that took her? When she goes home, will she tell everyone what happened? How do you keep going when the worst thing has happened? What do you have to change inside to survive? Who do you have to become?

It was a conversation that was long overdue, a conversation that he needed to have with Thea, but he never would have been able to go through with it if it wasn't for Felicity.

"Spence, we're not all saints. We've all got dark sides. And I love yours. Your flaws and your strengths. They make us who we are. And even though we ourselves may not love them, there is always going to be someone who does. I love you Spencer. I love every part of you. And I always will." What should have happened in 4x21. Oliver gets himself a bit more involved in protecting Felicity. Or: Three times he responds to false alarms at her apartment, and one time it's real. A bit of shameless fun, a bit of Felicity whump, protective!Oliver, and observant!Diggle. Romance if you squint. Will be 3-4 chapters.
