Hey hey, avid fanfiction reader for eight years since I stumbled upon some Harry Potter fics by chance at the tender age of eighteen. I am now in my mid twenties and the interest has yet to wane, though taste is now more refined :) I dislike Mary-sues and slash when it goes against the canon- for example Xena slash between Gabby and Xena is fine as it is heavily hinted at in the show, as is slash between Grindelwald and Dumbledore or an OC because JK Rowling stated that Dumbledore is gay.

Lord of the Rings and Silmarillion slash is NOT ok in any circumstances, neither is slash between characters who are not gay in ANY other fandom. I also dislike PWP and graphic sex in the Lord of The Rings and Silm section as it is disrepectful to Tolkien's work.

My main reading categories are: Being Human (Aidan Turner is possibly the most unbelievably gorgeous man in the world- see avatar), Blood Ties, Vampire Diaries (Twilight for people who don't like Twilight), Lord of The Rings and The Silmarillion. I also like reading the Hannah Howell Highland novels, but they don't have a category for that: gutted.
