A prequel to my CS angel/demon AU fic, Between Heaven and Hell. Every year she leaves him for forty days, and every year she comes back. It's an annual ritual Killian doesn't quite understand, but Emma has her reasons. No matter how hard their separation is on the both of them, they go through this every year.

She used to dream of running away to sea, and now she's spending many of her nights on a pirate ship, in the company of a pirate captain. If she wasn't used to her life being one surreal moment after another, she'd be tempted to pinch herself. Set vaguely in the future, no Big Bad to fight, just finding a good moment.

Emma allows herself to look, to truly look even if the world feels like spinning beneath her feet, even if her mind is cloudy all of a sudden – the brown curly mope of hair, the way she stands proud and tall. And the leather. Gosh, all the leather. So Emma knows, she knows simply by looking at the woman, and so the "Milah" in reply isn't an answer. It's a confirmation.

Emma goes dark, but Killian is still unable to leave her side.

Mary Margaret and David have this habit of setting Emma up on blind dates and they never go well, so Emma isn't exactly looking forward to the latest one. However, things don't always go as planned ...

It hurts her in a way she can't explain, a way that is more pleasure than pain. It winds her and blinds her and at the very same time, makes her toes tingle with the anticipation of just stepping closer… Captain Swan with a glimpse of the past and the future.

They say he's the king of the street rats, that when you fall in with him, you'll never go hungry again, that he has a harem of women from all over the world who will trek for miles and miles to share his bed. Emma doesn't really know about that harem thing, but the "never go hungry again" bit is enough to catch her interest after (at least most of) a life on the street. CS AU.

Post 3x01; Emma and Hook have a moment.

Returning from Neverland, Emma finds Storybrooke difficult to adjust to - Neal is settled with other people and Gold and Regina are both working to be better for their children. Where does Emma fit in now? She's not the only one in pain. She and Hook gravitate towards each other, the result is unsurprisingly messy.

Emma has been with Killian for a year when she finds out Neal is alive. A decision must be made. One shot.

Standing in the small bedroom, her fingers nearly quivering in anticipation and her breathing coming in and out in quick and slightly shallow puffs, Emma reached down to pull her shirt over her head, taking a moment to consider how exactly she had gotten to this point, and whether or not she should back out now. Irish Swan Trio pure smut.

"Whatever else, he knew this for sure: he refused to let Emma believe him dead, absolutely refused to let her mourn him with that pirate." Neal uses a crystal ball to try and contact Emma, only to observe a close moment between her and Captain Hook. He isn't sure what to feel, but it certainly motivates him to return. Emma gets lost in the jungle. Killian won't leave Neverland without her.

Years after surrendering Baelfire to the Lost Boys, Hook meets him in the forests of Neverland for one last talk.

Henry is still lost, Neverland is as dark and dangerous as ever and Emma's not sure she can take the unyielding pressure that's building up inside of her, threatening to pull her under, drown her and suffocate her. She needs release, she's desperate for relief, and there's only one person on board the Jolly Roger who can meet her needs. *M-rated stuff ahead*

A storm broke out and Emma & Hook are separated from the others, becoming easy preys for Neverland's tricks. And there are these voices ringing in their ears and echoing in their hearts... But are they really their owners' voices or one of Neverland's illusions?

On the final night aboard the Jolly Roger before the search for Henry begins, Hook offers Emma a way to find both sleep and peace.

"The first time, he's not entirely sure he's awake and it's a voice." Recovering in the hospital on the night of the car crash, Killian experiences six different hallucinations. [S2 hospital/deleted scene fic, Captain Swan]

Hook is like some kind of drug, whenever she's around him everything else just sort of fades out, and that kind of amnesia is exactly what Emma needs if she's going to stay sane at the moment. That, and copious amounts of wine.

Love is a shield, not a sword. — An attack from the Lost Ones leaves both Hook and Emma much worse for wear, and Hook presumed dead... until Emma wakes up, at least, and insists on going back for the one person who came back for her.

While on deck, a wave rocks the ship enough to send Hook crashing into Emma, effectively getting his earring caught on her shirt.

The Royal Family are back in the Enchanted Forest and hold a ball to celebrate. Emma is still struggling with the stress of the past few months and flees, ending up in the forest outside. As she bumps into Killian she realises that maybe, just maybe, there is a right time to dance. As well as a right person to dance with.

He was damned. Of that he was almost certain. And he wanted to hate her for it…he desperately longed to...Rating is hard T could be considered soft M.

In which Hook is oddly prescient. Sequel to Don't Touch.

When the crew of the Jolly Roger happen upon Neal in Neverland, Hook wars with his feelings and the urge to 'fight for what he wants ' when he sees a depressed Emma growing closer with the father of her child. Angsty Captain Swan/Swanfire oneshot.

Written while FFnet was down last night; post Season 2 finale. Hook and Emma, mostly dialogue, pre-relationship (meaning their dynamic is about the same as on the show). Aboard the Jolly Roger, Emma needs somewhere quiet to get away from the insanity and tension between all the other members of her family.

While Killian dreads his fear of being abandoned by Emma and the others after the search for Henry is over, he learns a couple of things about Emma during a strategy meeting on board the Jolly Roger. Having more questions, Killian and Emma have a little heart to heart that night.

Oneshot- Only in dreams can he admit how important she's become to him. Only in dreams will she allow him to give her what she's denied herself all along.

"When I was a boy, my father and I boarded a ship, with plans to travel the realms. One morning, I awoke and he was gone." Before he became Captain Hook, he was Killian Jones, a boy with dreams of traveling all of the seas with his papa. A few wishes upon a single star take the young boy on an adventure that makes him who he is today.

After a meeting with the Piccaninny Tribe goes south, Emma and Hook find themselves separated from the others in the middle of a thunderstorm and must take shelter in a small hut just outside the tribe's territory.

One night, I wondered what Killian might think if Emma came up and asked about the saying, "Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky at morning, sailor take warning." The short fic that followed is not what I was expecting, as most fics of mine end up, but I'm really liking what it turned out to be. Not sure about the ending, but it seemed fitting at the time.

[Neverland plotline] Hook gets himself stabbed and Emma plays nurse, slaps a mermaid, undresses a pirate and this is really not as funny as it sounds. (spiritual sequel to neck deep)

Having saved Henry, the group are invited by the Indians to celebrate their last night in Neverland before leaving. Emma and Killian have yet to discuss the feelings they've developed for one another. Fear and insecurity have kept them from doing so but jealousy can be one hell of a trigger. Jealous!Hook.

Aboard the Jolly Roger, Prince Charming does not really like what he's seeing. Not yet Emma/Hook, Snow/Charming

One night in Neverland, Emma finds sleep eluding her and ends up sitting on the ledge of the Jolly Roger, gazing at the island. A certain pirate soon joins her and gives her both the peace she needed and the strength to say thank you. Post-finale story.

Hook sneaks into Emma's room in the middle of the night and seduces her with a bet while she is still living with Mary Margaret and David. Captain Swan Oneshot written as a prompt for Xarrya on tumblr.

Sookie works in antiquities, keeping an eye out for artifacts that humans really shouldn't get their hands on. Sheriff Northman is one of the few aware of her other talent. He's profited from leaving her alone, until he's forced to seek her help. SPOV.

Gold and Hook bond over the mourning of Baelfire Post "And Straight on till Morning."

Begins with an alternate ending to 2x16 and goes from there. Follows the main characters as they face one peril after another. Some wit and humor and suspense. Includes some Swanthief and Captain Swan, and Charming family fluff.

All magic comes with a price: his sleep, her sanity. If solving their little magical link problem means she has to spend some quality time with her least favorite pirate captain then so be it.

When Emma abandoned Hook at the top of the beanstalk she had no idea just what path that decision might lead her down... straight to Neverland apparently. Never trust a Pirate Captain, especially when your survival might depend on it. Follows on from the Tallahassee episode 2x6. AU as of 2x8.

Cora asks Hook to pose as a survivor. But what sort of man could have survived her attack? Set just before "The Doctor." One-shot.

He had waited 300 years for this exact moment, for the crocodile to be powerless and weak. But somehow, he finds himself sharing drinks and swapping tales with the man he was supposed to kill. Somewhat AU, set during The Queen is Dead.

In an attempt to pass the time as they sail back to Storybrook from Neverland, Emma, Mary Margaret, David, Henry, Regina, Neal, Gold, and Belle decide to play Truth or Dare during their dinner. Not amused with their family banter, Hook decides to join the group and rattle their spirits by posing a sensitive question to Gold.

With Henry whisked away to Neverland, Emma's left feeling lost and broken. Unfortunately, she knows there's only one man who can help get her son back to safety. Hook. But before they can embark on the journey together they must first come to terms with what's between them, perhaps finding something they didn't realize they'd been seeking and healing each other in the process.

Another curse hits and takes Emma to a new, horrible land. Hook can't let her face it alone.

Nine years after defeating the Labyrinth, Sarah is in Ireland - a land of old magic, where legend suggests her victory comes with a price and her story is far from finished. Something ancient has been set in motion and Sarah finds herself at the centre of a very old, very Goblin, tradition. As time passes, fruit ripens... Let the feast begin at the Goblin Market.

Hook has his revenge but finds that it is just as much bitter as it is sweet. The world has changed and Hook finds himself with everything he could have hoped for. Including Emma who he treasures more than anything else. She is his in every way and Hook was never letting go. Rated T for sexual references.

One-shot, in which Hook and Emma converse and Emma learns what Peter Pan and the Lost Boys were really like. This was an idea that hit me one night and wouldn't let go. Will most likely end up being completely different from whatever the show's writers tell us. For some reason, I choose to blame/credit Neil Gaiman for the places my mind went with this piece.

A stolen object, a reluctant captive and the perils of magic. Hook gets more than he bargains for in his attempt to win over Emma.
