Captured and made into a circus attraction Merlin arrives in the great hall as part of the entertainment for the Crown Prince's 21st birthday. When he lays eyes on Arthur Pendragon he knows there's something familiar about him, reminding Merlin of the lake. He knows if he wants to return for good he needs to kill Arthur.
