Now, on with the profiling...

I'm 20 something woman who loves to read. For me there's nothing like losing myself in a good story; it's where I get my respite from real life and it's many hardships. I'll read just about anything, preferably if there's some romance attached to it, and I'm a sucker for happy endings (there's already so much sadness in real life).

I'm much more of a reader than a writer, but as the later I'm extremely perfectionist and won't post anything unless I'm completely satisfied with it. Also, I won't post anything that has not been completed yet, so my own stories will be few and far between. To be completely sincere I believe I can't write shit, but I most certainly can and will read and give you my opinon if I think it's relevant (If it's only annoying you please tell me and I'll stop and spare us both the time)

My favorite fics revolve around the dark, brooding, witty, and frequently wicked anti-heroes who never get their share on the cannon stories, but who posses incomparably richer personalities than the so called heros. As I said before, I'll read almost anything, but I favor stories of healing and/or self discovery, and of course a good and healthy share of smutty goodness (I'm red-blooded after all!!). I also like the women to be strong characters, capable of overcome their fears and the obstacles life throw their way and reach for what they want.

In consequence of all I said so far I completely WORSHIP my Favorite Stories list and take great pains to fill it with stories I'd like to share with everyone else. All the stories on the list below are amazing on their own rights. Be it because they are funny, or touching, or their plot is fabulous, or the writing flawless, or the smut scorching hot, or even, in some rare cases, all of the above. The most important is that all these authors went through great pains to do a good work and post it here, and some of them are still underapreciated. So I make a point to highlight a few of their works here simply because they captivated me in some form, and I'd love it if you took the time to browse this list and give yourself a chance to be captivated too!! *

To facilitate things here are the categories I dwell in and the pairings I ship:

In the not so distant past I went through a Harry Potter fever so you are going to find a great deal of it here mainly concerning Hermione/Lucius or Hermione/Severus pairings, but there is a little of others too.
I utterly and completely ABOMINATE Hermione/Ron, and cannot fathom what she did to JKR to deserve this cruel punishment on the books. So you're never going to find it here unless it's Ron bashing.

I've recently completed the playthrough of all three games of the Mass Effect Series (If you've never played it you don't know what you're missing ;P) so there's even more of it than HP if you can believe me, but it's almost exclusively Female Shepard/Garrus (I love him and if I ever get to space travel I want my own Turian to go with it), with a side dish of some other Turian deliciousness and of course some Thane too ('cause who doesn't like a sexy assassin clad in leather? And a widower to boot!! lol. ).

In the Sookie Stackhouse fandom, be it True Blood(the series) or SVM(the books) you'll basically find Sookie/Eric. Yeah I shamelessly ship the Viking(yum!!!) in all forms, manners, and contents and HATE Bill more than Ron Weasley, so don't you dare ask for him here!!

I'm currently going through a Hollows (Rachel Morgan Series) fase to celebrate the release of the awaited Ever After (All hails to the great Kim Harrison who created my favorite demon!!!!). By my little rambling you can guess I ship Rachel/Al and only Rachel/Al!!! Even if I like Kisten, he's nothing compared to my beloved Demon. I really don't get the Rache/Trent thing, it doesn't make any sense to me (don't ask me why). And I LOATHE Pierce, so it goes without saying. ;P

Beyond that there's also a little of Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire (All San/San 'cause they are the best); some Fairy Tales (One amazing Rapunzel story and a WIP on Cinderella) and Peter Pan (all of them Wendy/Hook 'cause I can't resist the pirate Captain and do everything he asks me to *not that it's any hardship, mind you*). Oh and of course the random Vampire non-TrueBlood story with the exception of Twilight. You'll NEVER find Twilight in my list!!!

ABOUT MY STORY:

'There is only Darkness' is a one-shot part of a bigger story I'm currently working at and was originally written in portuguese by me and my very best friend. As this chapter is the only one that might be called a fanfiction, I'm not going to post the rest of the story here, but we are dicussing about putting it at fictionpress.net.
We simply love the Vampire persona that became famous with Bram Stoker, although there were others before him essential to compose the features we know today. In the name of modernity this first persona has been greatly altered and what we are trying to do is to bring back the vampires of old.
This is the main point of this story and will be a recurrent theme, even if not boldly stated, of all the vampire fics I shall post or fav ever. But you can certainly expect vampires with personality traits closer to Dracula's than to Edward Cullen's personality.
