![]() Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter. Post-it note enthusiastic, train go-getter, shoelace collector, loud mouth inquisitor, music-better-be-louder dancer, confidence embarrasser, creative flake, indecivise organiser, karaoke laugher, religious movie follower, open-minded politician, economist daft, weather hater, barefoot business woman, chocolate punter, gossiping secret-keeper, know-it-all purveyor and sarcastic charmer. That's pretty much me if I was to write it all out in a handy sales pitch. Currently, I have so many nicknames that I can barely keep track, but mostly I prefer to go by Lesh. I suffer the worst writer's block known to man's entire history of it, but I consider myself an amateur writer. I have always done this business for the fun and passion in it, rather than the hopes to make a career out of it. If that happens, I imagine myself to be like the next Stephen King. I want to write horror and I want to be famous for it. Right now, I'm not famous for anything. I am foremost a roleplayer over a fanfiction writer, but I defeated the toughness of Nanowrimo with an original story (incomplete). I love writing Harry Potter canon stories, but mostly my huge influences come from the movie screen. I am sure I'll post something of that here. I adore mostly character insights and tragic pairings with drama and angst. I love comedy that is well done, and the type of romance that gets you right at the core of your heart. I adore all the odd pairings with all the exploring. I'm addicted to slash, but above all I'm addicted to tragedy. I cheer on the underdog, I love when couples struggle together and I always want the villain to win. Personally, I write a lot of character insights, trying my shoes in every department. My biggest appreciation is pretty simple. The book I admire the most is The Madman's Tale by John Katzenbach, followed swiftly by these other ones. Grotesque by Natsuo Kirino, IT and Dreamcatcher by Stephen King, Fear Itself by Jonathan Narsaw and Life Support by Tess Gertisen. I love the narration of Fight Club, but enjoy the complex nature of Madman's Tales. I also take heaps of inspiration from Sin City and other high speed, all violence, tough in cheek wit comics. My favourite things to write are usually the canons I spent hours envisioning for roleplays. They are like my children, even birthed by another mind. I wanna see them win above all odds. I think that's pretty much all, right? |
