I broke, I snapped, I have but two friends now. I want to cry, but I can't. They used me, they didn't care for me. They wanted my brain, not me. I cannot cry because I must stay strong. I must put on my façade, my mask. I must hide.-Lizzy1538

Darkness, I can't see. There's no light at all, but wait, light will still come. Yes, I see it, it's coming closer. It hurts my eyes. I want to hide, but I know I won't get another chance.

Deaf, that's what I am. I can't hear, then, I hear it. A tune of music. It's getting louder, it hurts so much. All of the sudden, a wave of noise. It's so painful, I cower. I am getting used to it, but slowly.

Touch, I haven't done that in what seems like years. Then, I feel it, a light wind. I feel hands wrapping around me, lightly, they are hugging me. I flinch. They feel it, but they just hold tighter.

Smell, I can't remember what that is. Then, something hits my nose. It's very light, but it's there. It's getting stronger. I can't tell what it is, but I crave it. It comes full force and I scuttle away, trying to escape, but it follows me everywhere now.

Taste, I can't move my tongue it's so dry. I want to eat, but there is no food. I want to drink, but there is no water. I feel it, something pouring on my lips. They open and my tongue is relieved from its prison. I can taste it, it shocks me. I open my mouth wider before it's gone again.

Now you have been in my mind, and you know what it is like. It was dark, but you gave me light. It was quiet, but you gave me music. It was lonely, but you gave me comfort. I was lifeless, but you gave me life. I was hopeless, but you gave me hope.-Lizzy1538

Ya, I have to. But, I didn't, and I'm glad that I didn't. I am still needed here, no matter how much I don't want to be. Life is a rollercoaster, it has ups and downs. But rollercoasters are fun, and I don't want my ride to end anytime soon.-Lizzy1538
