Lucas and Red, two seemingly unalike boys, find themselves traveling together during the fight against the Subspace Army. United in nothing but their shattered pasts, they learn that sometimes friendship really can be salvation.

He had no idea what prompted him to do it. It was crumbling and crooked and clearly no one had lived there for years. But when Bolson had told him it was set to be demolished, he had felt a stab of pain, a flash of heartache. He didn't know why but he couldn't help but feel like saving it was incredibly important to him.

What kind of person was the Hero of Time? His journey begins and ends with him wearing the skin of as an innocent child, but his true colors are a little unorthodox. There's more to growing up than just dungeons- the people he meets in life are just as influential, as are the choices he makes.

Growing up, Link wanted to be a knight just like his father. Hunting, gathering and cooking skills he learned from his mother. As proud as they were, Link's parents were stricken with grief when he'd taken up the Master Sword, fearing for what eventually happened to him. After he fell, they never stopped waiting for him to return.

Hudson was grateful for the trust Bolson had in him, but the Tarrey Town project was just a little too big for him. Thankfully, this kid didn't mind giving a hand.

Touya who was beaten then abandoned by his parents ends up in an orphanage. N, who is heartbroken and lonely after Ghetsis's arrest, is talked into adopting a child by his sisters. But will he be able to help Touya?

When Link learns of his father's death, he feels his world fall down around him. Though he tries his hardest not to let his exterior crumble down with it, Zelda can see through the cracks. Angsty/fluffy Zelink, pre-Calamity.

Defeating Calamity Ganon was just the beginning. Princess Zelda tries to help her appointed knight Link to fully recover his memories and he, in turn, works with her to restore the Kingdom of Hyrule. The Yiga Clan, though, have one last ace to play to stop them. A Breath of the Wild sequel.

The final fight of the Champions while they were in flesh and blood. One by one, their war-cries and screams of defeat deafened the com-link between the Divine Beasts. Mipha brought up the rear as the healer. She had a low-level mental bond with them all, with the Hylian princess and with an ill-fated Hero. Perhaps it was fitting that Vah Ruta was the last to fall.

Because it's not fair, is it? That Lillie's the one who gets to change, mend fences with their mother, and get her heroic Trainer journey somewhere far away. Or maybe, in some form of poetic justice, it's just right that Lillie gets to leave and Gladion has to stay. - Gladion, after everything.

Perhaps it was because he was an amnesiac, but the young man was desperate for something familiar. Everything else was strange about the world he'd woken up to, so he might as well obey the voices in his head. He heeded the call of the Sheikah Slate to call up a Familiar with a wolf's form and human eyes. The horse that came seemed to know him, too. It was good to have friends.

(Epilogue added) After the events of Majora's Mask, Anju and Kafei learn that Link is homeless and take him in, but all he wants is to continue his search for Navi. Meanwhile, all Romani wants is to help her new friend and hero, whether he asks for it or not.

While the Hero of Time disappeared from history after the Princess sent him back, practically none in Hyrule know what happened to him, and with good reason. The moon finally stopped the hero must move on with his life in the new world he has stumbled upon. Short look into what may have happened to keep the hero away from Hyrule. Eventually, I'll expand this, but for now, enjoy.
