I'm a Laverne and Shirley fan from way way back. Farther back than I want to admit, but I still fangirl like a pre-teen in my spare time. I love all the characters, but my absolute favorite is Shirley Feeney, because she's a wonderfully complicated girl and ridiculously fun to watch. I adore her endless duality-- the sweet bitch, the chaste vamp, the goofball genius. Major props go Cindy Williams for a brilliant and under-recognized portrayal. No one else could have sold this beautiful mess of character and made her so lovable.

Anyway, my top ships are Shirley/Carmine, Shirley/Laverne and Shirley/Lenny. I guess I ship her with everyone but Squiggy, though perhaps I could be persuaded yet. Basically, if Shirley's involved, I'm in. The only pairing I just can't with ever (seriously, don't ask me to read/write it) is Laverne/Carmine. Just NO on endless levels, not the least of which is my unfailing belief in the L/S friendship. It is inviolable bedrock IMO, so again, hells no to that.

I've written fic for other shows, but wanted to make a separate account for my L&S stuff to spare my followers any further confusion. Up until now, I've kept my L&S work exclusively on the Knapp Street fic site (which is awesome, btw) but feel like maybe I'd get some more traffic/feedback here, so here goes...
