Midoriya Izuku is very much done with life. He's tired. What better way to fix that then to help people behind a mask? He's not a hero, really. How can he be after everything he's done? Except people seem to disagree and soon enough, he's dragged through stuff he never thought he would and to be honest, that's saying a lot.

A loud yell resonates in the small yet warm house. It had sound like the scream of a terrified child, most likely locked in a room. Soon enough, quick footsteps are heard against the wooden floor, almost running to the source of that scream. Opening a pink-colored door, the grown man turns up the light to iluminate the child's room...

As a child, Izuku decided it would be better if he were Quirkless than to have a power that scared everyone. Now a teenager and looking to enter U.A, he finds himself as the protege of All Might and a student of the best heroes in the nation- but there's no running from a part of you, and he's learning the hard way that you have to accept all of yourself to be a real hero.

It only took a few words from a random hero, but it was more than enough to push a young Izuku Midoriya into following his dreams.
