![]() Author has written 3 stories for Yu Yu Hakusho, and Kuroshitsuji. Hello. I am a person. I do persony things, like write stories. Sometimes I do not do persony things. Like writing a good profile. u.u Hello! Welcome to my profile. Thank you for coming. My story is that some (goodness, eight?) years ago I used to write fanfiction. Then I fell into a hole of writer's block and fear that everything I wrote was terrible. Since then fanfiction ideas have been building up in my head and never being released. I just managed to break this cycle by returning to the first fandom that I ever wrote for and revamping an old plot that I had been planning on writing. That fandom is Yu Yu Hakusho. That fic is The Darker Tournament. (I was really desperate for a name ;;; ) I enjoy exploring intricate plots, culture, and the depths of characters. I love exploring their backstories, deepest thoughts, and relationships to each other. I used to write romance all the time. When I do it is pretty much always homosexual. I find relationships between same gender couples to be the most interesting and balanced relationships. My fandoms at the moment are: Yu Yu Hakusho I never expected that my solutions would come from returning to this series, but they have! My favourite characters are Kurama and Hiei. (Oh I'm so original.) Though I am also a huge fan of Genkai. XP Sherlock (Original) My forever headcannon Sherlock is Jeremy Brett from the Granada television series. He's my mental image of the original Victorian Sherlock. Sherlock (BBC) Ok, so I have a lot of feelings about the BBC series of Sherlock. Not all are positive, not all are negetive. I find Sherlock's presentation fascinating, and he is one of my favourite characters to explore. I've had head cannons for his history and character that I hope to write up soon! Avengers/Thor Loki is another favourite character of mine. Really, I just like cunning, manipulative, Slytherin characters. Axis Powers Hetalia This is another series about which I have very mixed feelings. By that I mean that I really don't like the original series. With no offense meant to anyone who enjoys it. I did enjoy it for a time. But it's full of so many stereotypes (that's what it lives off of), skewed versions of history, and plain false facts. What I do love about it is that it gives a face and a personality to history. Instead of just a timeline of dates and events it's full of human relations. I love that. And I love exploring questions like: What is a nation? Is it the spirit of the physical land? Or is it the spirit of the people who live there? Is England the child of the Anglos, Saxons, and Jutes? Or did he grow up with Scotland and Britannia? Did Britannia exist before Rome invaded? As a warning, I am in college. So while I'm trying to hold myself to a strict posting schedule, I may have to leave off during midterms/finals period. ; |
