Hi! My name is M'Lissy Lou. Okay, that's not really my name; that's a name my mother used to call all seven of her daughters when she was playing with us. It was supposed to sound old-fashioned and quaint, and I liked it, so I decided to use it as a pseudonym.

I'm going to start posting my first story soon, and I want to kind of introduce myself. I want to tell you a little something about my perspective for writing, because some people may not want to read what I write and if I don't tell you up front, I'm afraid some people will think I have blindsided them, or done a bait and switch.

I am a Christian, and I write like a Christian. That is not to say that everything I write will be something from a Sunday School lesson (though I actually have written Sunday School materials for my denomination). I know that here I am writing for a general audience. But it has always been my dream to write Christian Fiction such as that written by people like Karen Kingsbury, Francine Rivers, and Frank Peretti, and my writing is going to be in that vein, and there will be a spiritual element to a lot of my stories, if not all of them. Jesus died on the cross so my sins could be forgiven, and I am not going to be ashamed of Him.
