College AU. When Alec gets his hands on an invitation to a Christmas masquerade party being hosted by Magnus Bane he sees it as his one chance to get close to the guy he's been crushing on for months now while disguised. And after all, how hard can it be to be someone else for a few hours and then slip away, no one ever knowing it was him?

So when Magnus finds himself stuck with an addiction, who can he turn to? Thankfully Alec's there for him, no matter what. But what if Alec has his own addiction to battle? Magnus is attractively arrogant. Alec is horrendously sick for two days, but he gets to be right for once, so it's worth it. "We should call it a holiday. 'The Day Alec Was Right and Magnus Was Wrong'."

Alec never believed in ghost stories. How wrong he was.
