The paramedics tried to stabilize Kelly Severide to move him to the ambulance. He was barely conscious and had lost a lot of blood from two stab wounds. On the other side of the apartment, Matt Casey stood covered in blood. "You recognize this knife?" one of the cops asked. He nodded, the words barely audible, "Yeah, it's mine." An AU where Danny is still a cop, but Steve never left the Navy, and Five-0 doesn't exist. Steve was wounded in combat and is blind, but still on active duty, only of course in a different capacity. Steve and Danny meet under quite unusual circumstances. Please note that I changed the rating to a "T" - there was just a bit too much swearing and mention of violence for a "K "
