After a terrible accident, Merlin is left with no memory of his time in Camelot. Separated from Arthur and all who could tell him who he is, Merlin tries to piece together his life and his loyalties. And be respectful and don't speak back and everything?" Merlin studied his King and bowed in agreement. He would behave no matter how arrogant these nobles got. He regretted the promise almost immediately.

He didn't know how long he held this connection, pouring his magic into Arthur's body and soul, but when he next looked down, Arthur's wound was completely gone. Finally, gasping, Merlin wrenched his hands away from Arthur, whose eyes flew open. They were glowing gold. (T for some gore.)

Fury destroys lives. It clouds judgement, ruins friendships, and can make a person do horrible things he may regret for the rest of his life. Merlin was always taught to control his temper, and taught never to enrage anyone else if he could help it. But this time, fury was the only tool he had to save his king. Whatever it took, he would save Arthur.

Their enemies are behind bars, but victory isn't as sweet as they'd hoped. Shinichi never got his cure and Kaito just can't let go. It's only in each other's eyes that they can see themselves anymore. :KaiShin:
