I'm a college student majoring in sociology/criminology and have been writing fanfiction for years but took a long hiatus for many years and am just now getting back into writing agian. I've been lurking on Fanfiction.net for well over 10 years reading stories for various television shows and movies that have caught my fancy. I have found so many amazing stories and authors on here and owe each and every one of you, you all taught me how to read and write better than ever before. Fanfiction opened my eyes to reading, before I found fanfiction I was 11 years old with the reading level of a 8 year old and I just couldn't find a book I was interested in long enough to sit down and read it. When I found fanfiction I litterally sat in front of a computer screen the entire summer between sixth and seventh grade reading Facts of Life fanfiction form here and various other sites, my love for fanfiction intensified and evolved from there. Soon I found myself writing fanfictions of my own, though now I look back at them and cringe at my poor writing skills at that age. Now that I'm 10 years older and a senior in college I don't exactly have a lot of time to write between classes, work, and preparing for graduate school. Hopefully I'll be able to continue writing in what little spare time I have and thus improve my writing skills in the process. If you want to know more about me just ask.
