Tropical weather over here means a lot of sun, heat, rain, and sweat inducing humidity. I love it.

I hate cold temperatures, not shopping mall air conditioned cold, but ear freezing cold. I went abroad, stood in natural snow, and came to realize I hate the frigid cold that feels like someone's pulling my ears. Out of my element, my skin itched like hell.

I have come to utterly despise the blasphemy that's been done to vampires. Seriously. Long ago Joss Whedon made vampires look cool. David Boreanaz as a kick ass 'Angel' vampire was cool. But Twilight, rabid fan girls' love for Twilight, and utter love for vampires just ruined my perspective on vampires. Vampires that glitter under the sun? I hate the brain and the utter sheer stupidity of who came up with it or embracing it. Makes me think about werewolf gangsters wearing silver bling bling all around from some reason. I mean come on.

It has come to a point that too much of anything isn't a good thing. The same applies for zombies, I'm sick of it.

Angst.

What a word, isn't it?

I don't mind reading angst. Too much of it and tragedy? No thank you. It's just not my cup of tea. To each, his own. I read to escape from the tragedies and angst of reality, too much of that already so I don't want the wallow in misery. I've tried at times, kinda feels like it makes the honey taste that much sweeter after all the vinegar. Life isn't all fluffy bunnies, but it also isn't about angst. To those who can stomach it, my hats off to you and to angst writers, you amaze and puzzle me at the same time.

I like reviewing stories. Over the years I have learned a thing or to, to bear in mind whenever I review and so should other readers. There are stories published by really young and inexperienced authors, so bear in mind you shouldn't expect all stories are written well or done professionally. Show support for the time and effort they've put into stories you've enjoyed, give constructive criticism to help them improve. Don't send out FLAMES, it's beyond childish. Nothing more than a selfish sign of you trying to make yourself feel better by outright belittling others. It's better to keep yourself quiet than making a fool of yourself.

'If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.'

I don't troll, flame, or be abusive. My reviews are just my personal opinion while trying to be honest and polite. If fanfiction authors don't want constructive criticism, then they can make that clear in their author notes. I believe the review system is mean for readers to give their opinion. If an author wants to improve and follow them? Sure. If not, then just ignore. It's just an opinion. No need to throw tantrums or take it so personal.

But that doesn't excuse the writer from something as basic writing skills. Please, please, do mind punctuation and paragraphing. I'm no English teacher, but is it so hard to have proper paragraphing, quotations, and such simple capitalization? I don't expect professional work in fanfiction but please don't simply publish a story that could blatantly be used as an example for students to correct as their English homework.

I would rather point out obvious mistakes rather than turn a blind eye and say 'good job!'. A constructive review would help the author be a better author by helping them correct their mistakes they've made rather than just 'good job! nice!'. Is it wrong to point out minor errors like its and it's? There, they're and their? Loose and lose? Nobody is perfect. All my stories have errors and I even had beta readers for all of them.

If you don't like the story, then just stop reading it. Nobody is forcing you. The least you can do is walk away without flaming the story just because you didn't like it, the best you can do is help them improve and thank them for all the time and efforts they've put into the story that you've enjoyed. As a former author, a lot of time and effort is put into writing, showing appreciation by the reviewing a story you enjoyed is rewarding for an author.

My biggest dislike would be a chapter which turns out to be nothing more than an author's note. If one has to, fine, but please take it down later. There's also the 'I suck at summaries' written in the story's summary. Bad impression. If the writer doesn't even have the confidence writing short summaries, what does that say about writing the story itself? Have more confidence, take out 'I suck at summaries'.

Yup, it's full of grammatical errors. I'd be happy and honored if someone wishes to correct them. I wouldn't mind keeping it as it is, apparently it pisses off Liv Wilder. I am quite hypocritical and arrogant, or so she says. She pointed out all the mistakes on my bio, and yet skips the parts she doesn't like.
