Clint spills a secret he shouldn't, Bucky and Steve have an important discussion (a few decades too late), and JARVIS doesn't quite know what Pepper is after for her Christmas cards (or maybe he does, and he just has an interesting sense of humor). Bucky is part of the Avengers now. Whether he likes it or not. Unfortunately, being an Avenger means actually talking to the Avengers. Putting the two best marksmen together seems like a good place to start. Friendship is an important part of recovery. Fun Fairs, face paint, Disney songs and candyfloss is not. Clint somehow manages to help Bucky realise what sort of friend he is.

Natasha accompanies and flirts with a lonely Bucky sitting all alone in the bar. - Just a rolling fluff machine here. Really.- Set somewhere post-CaCW I guess, where in my head everybody gets back together as one big happy family - including the Avengers characters.

Memories are like teeth. The whole set would be good, but one or two work well enough. Bucky wasn't completely alone whilst Steve was looking for him. You could call it an unlikely friendship. But the old lady sold plums, so it wasn't that unlikely. A one-shot of the first good memories Bucky makes after beginning to remember who he is.

Tony has a broken wrist, a drugged supersoldier, and a kidnapper with delusions of supervillainy who is just competent enough to be annoying. The adults of the Avengers know the sacrifices being an Avenger entails. Parker seems like soft metal waiting to be molded into a hero. Underneath it all he's still just a kid. I think we can all agree Bucky Barnes needs a hug. The Avengers think so too - and they will hunt him down one by one.

For as long as she can remember, Piper has had the ability to see the strings running from person to person, tying them together. Steve discovers something about his teammate he was not sure he ever wanted to know. Now that he does, he's got to deal with it.

They don't become a team overnight. First they have to eat shawarma, watch movies, and play rock, paper, scissors.

An assignment to guard a group of scientists on a train and during an experiment goes wrong and brings back painful memories for Steve. "You been here all day?" Tony asked. Steve nodded. "You should come home." He watched as Steve sat back down on the ground and wrapped his arms around his knees, gazing at the headstone and nodding. References to canonical character death.

It's jarring, losing everything you know. But there is one thing similar, one thing that lets him know he's not alone. He's not the only one who's lost everything and had to start over from scratch.
