Summery:

It’s been six long years since he left and Stephanie still hasn’t gotten over it. She still wished, hoped and believed that one day he would come back.

-Stephanie sat on the swing and tapped her feet on the floor she did this often now because everyone else in lazy town had given up hope that he would ever come back, Sportacus had left six years ago and lazy town had lost its Buzz, thinking of Sportacus made Stephanie’s eyes sting, she tried not to think about it but she couldn’t stop the memory invading her mind……………………………………………………………………………………

‘Why do you have to leave’ cried a much younger Stephanie,

‘I’ll come back’ said Sportacus ,even though six years had pasted she could remember his handsome face clearly,

‘do you mean that’ gasped Stephanie ‘ do you promise’, Sportacus saluted and spun around on the spot Sportacus and Stephanie had invented this to show that they would keep there promise no-matter what but Sportacus had,

‘I promise’ replied Sportacus……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

‘but you didn’t come back did you ‘ Stephanie said to her self ‘ you liar’ she didn’t want to think about it any ore so she did what she always done when she couldn’t forget she pulled a small piece of glass from her pocket and ran it over her arm feeling the warm blood drip, cutting her wrist wasn’t the only thing she did know she also had stopped eating to, Stephanie was no-longer slim and active but skinny and frail she looked at her arms and sighed they looked horrid as if someone had out searing hot wire on her arm you could see them a mile of, because she barley went home her uncle Milford hadn’t noticed, Stephanie know lived with her uncle Milford because her parents had been brutally killed two years previously but she didn’t mind they had never really loved her not like Sportacus had.

‘hey slag’ jeered Trixie who walked past Stephanie ‘still cutting your wrist for attention’, Stephanie looked up and saw her with Pete, Alan and Luke her children, she had got her self pregnant the year Sportacus had left and had been horrible to Stephanie as if it was here fault, Stephanie didn’t want any trouble so she jumped of the swing and walked up to the stone of lazy town she read the words on it,

‘People of lazy town must always be happy,

happy, happy how can anyone be happy here no you’ve gone Sportacus,

she read the stone again and remembered all the fun she use to have had if only Ziggy was still here, Ziggy had been killed when two thugs had come to lazy town.

Stephanie turned around and screamed,

‘HOW COULD YOU LEAVE US SPORTACUS’, SHE FELL TO THE FLOOR AND CREID,

‘YOU SAID YOU’D COME BACK FOR ME,YOU PROMISED.’
