Once Cynder confesses her feelings to Spyro, they find out that they have a rather unusual bond. A bond that goes beyond death. As our characters recover slowly, Ember finds a mysterious young dragon who looks no older then her and her friends. Just who is this guy? And why does he look and act strikingly similar to our deceased purple friend?

Series takes place after DOTD. Spyro and Cynder have just saved the world. But their work isn't done yet. With Ignitus gone there's need for a new fire guardian. And with two new dragons arriving, Spyro and Cynder's relationship will be put to the test.

Cynder was the strongest person Spyro knew. She had been forced to commit countless atrocities under Malefor's influence and was stuck with the memories of having done those heinous acts.
