Author has written 13 stories for Harry Potter, Batman, Once Upon a Time, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Hey everyone, I'm a 23 year old girl just makin' her way through college. Writing is my favorite pasttime, but I've never been good enough at it to post anything online (at least good enough in my eyes but then I'm a bit of an obsessive perfectionist). My brother finally encouraged me to post my stuff here (he's my Beta! Thanks bro!) Anyone interested, here's my Tumblr feed: For a bit of fun and so you guys have an idea of the live-action casting I have in mind when writing (which tends to morph together with my favorite artist renditions in the comic stuff) Casting Protectors of Blüdhaven She's a Thai actress who has been in a number of martial arts films, and dang she is good, and very much looks the part of Cass. And if anyone has the chance, either watch the film "Chocolate" with her in it or watch some youtube clips of her fights, she's pretty much Cass in that film except for the "raised by an assassin" bit (instead she has autism/savant syndrome, and while she speaks next to nothing - sound familiar? - she is able to just watch martial artists fight and copy and use their moves). So yeah, pretty much the closest we'll get to seeing Cass on the big screen, sadly. Selina Kyle played by Eliza DushkuAnother wonderful actress who has experience fighting on screen. She was Faith in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and on Angel, and then was the lead role on the sadly canceled Dollhouse (Seriously Fox what is wrong with you, first Firefly then Dollhouse?!?!?). Oh, and she's also got the perfect geek cred, as she voiced Selina Kyle in the animated Batman Year One movie (and in a short related to that movie called DC Showcase: Catwoman).
