Hello, Hola, Hallo, Bonjour! My name is ImpossibleLoveSyndrome, so-called because I suffer from the totally not-made-up syndrome that means I am obsessed with love stories where the characters have to go against society, complete some impossible task or even die for love! Hopefully, that last one can be avoided as much as possible otherwise I'll huddle under my duvet and cry for a month, or at least until I dig out my old Labyrinth DVD. All together now! You remind me of the babe Dance magic dance, Dance magic, dance... Sorry, got into the groove there. Seriously, any love stories resolved because of a simple misunderstanding or by just telling the person, I don't want to know. What happened to romance, people? Actions speak louder than words. Anyway, I'm an 18 year old from England and proud to be British! So please don't moan at me over any British mannerisms, phrases or spelling or my big British bulldog will HUNT YOU DOWN! As will our cyborg queen. LONG LIVE THE CYBORG QUEEN. OK, I'm calm now. You can now stop walking backwards slowly and get to know me (Hey, that rhymes!) To quote Meg from Hercules my friends call me ILS, ImpossibleLove, Impossible or just plain Imp, or at least they would if I had any friends. So if you want to PM me, go for it! I also play the harmonica and love writing more than anything in the world. Just some trivia. I'm also tiny by UK and US standards (4'11''), although I prefer 'fun-sized.' I also have dark brown hair and mood-ring eyes. Seriously, they've changed from grey to green to blue within the last week. I just call them grey. It's more unusual. Grey's underrated. OK, now onto the important stuff. What do I like? Below are the fanfics I like reading... Lower... Little lower... Hi! OK, as promised, here are the fanfics I read the most: - Silence of the Lambs/Hannibal- HannibalxClarice Hey, I love impossible love pairs, and you can't get anymore impossible than the love between a feisty Special Agent and a charismatic, sociopathic cannibal on the run from the law. Although the age difference is an obstacle on its own. - Teen Titans - Flinx I like small doses of BBxRae, HotGent, RobStar and Jerikole, but it's the passionate, tempestuous relationship of Flinx I love the most. They really compliment each other, and I really think it's them against the rest of the Titans who dislike Jinx because she's an ex-villan. - The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride - KovuxKiara This film is one of my guilty pleasures, and I love how the whole 'Romeo & Juliet' plot device has been interpreted. 'Love Will Find a Way' is one of my favourite Disney songs, and I think Kovu's hot, for a lion! XD - X2 - NightcrawlerxStorm Just really sweet. The chemistry and sparks between them in the film also caused my TV to blow up. :) - Merlin - MerlinxFreya Merlin doesn't get a love interest until series 2, and when he finally gets one (SPOILER ALERT!) they kill her off! Can't get more impossible, can it? I love fanfics centring on her return, because SHE WILL RETURN OR I'LL...um... write an angry letter, I guess. What else can I do? - Casualty - Many will hate me for this, but... DylanxZoe I know there's a lot of support for DylanxSam, but I think that they have to accept that their marriage is over. The war has changed Sam, and she deserves someone who understands that and isn't as closed-off as Dylan. I also think, unlikely as it is, that Zoe's just as strong-willed as Sam but her bubbly personality is more likely to crack Dylan's gruff exterior. TV Shows I Like - Once Upon a Time (My Current Fave) - Doctor Who - Ed, Edd n Eddy (A childhood fave) - Merlin - Casualty - Britain/America's Got Talent - Criminal Minds (I'm in love with the character Dr. Spencer Reid) - New Girl (I like to delude myself into thinking I'm a little like Jess) - Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - Phineas and Ferb - Being Human (The UK version, not the US version) - How I Met Your Mother - Friends re-runs Films I like - Anything with Edward Norton. The Illusionist, The Incredible Hulk, Fight Club are prime examples. - Cheesy 80's Fantasy Films, e.g. Legend, Labyrinth, The Princess Bride and Ladyhawke. - Musicals is also a favourite genre, from classics such as Meet Me in St Louis and Singin' in the Rain to Cabaret and Chicago. - Anything by Tim Burton. The man is a mad genius! Favourites include Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Corpse Bride and Big Fish. Superhero films are awesome too, for no reason I can fathom. - I also really enjoy films from all decades, but especialy the 40's and 50's. My favourite classic actors and actresses include: Audrey Hepburn, James Dean, Katharine Hepburn, James Stewart, Grace Kelly, Cary Grant, Elizabeth Taylor, Buster Keaton, Gene Tierney, Charlie Chaplin, Judy Garland and, of course, Marilyn Monroe. Gone but never forgotten. My favourite contemporary actors are: Tom Hanks, Jodie Foster, Jack Nicholson, Helena Bonham-Carter, Anthony Hopkins and Meryl Streep. I also like most music, it's just heavy metal and rock I can't stand. I love Taylor Swift - everytime I'm going through a certain situation or thinking up a new story, it's guaranteed that she has a song that fits the situation perrfectly. Most of my fanfics will probably be based on one of her songs. I also really like Katy Perry, Jessie J, Coldplay, Snow Patrol and Bon Jovi. Despite being British, I hate both The Wanted and One Direction. Just to let you know :) So that's it! All you need to know about me. I like to think I'm pretty open-minded. If anyone wants me to put something on my profile for a cause, as long as I agree with it, I will. I'm not really laugh-out-loud funny apart from the famous British dry sarcasm, but I like to think I'm empathetic and understand and can express many different character's emotions.
