Author has written 2 stories for Magic: The Gathering, and Warhammer.

Personaly I enjoy exploring the not so european realms of fantasy, we have all been put in the lords of the rings far too many times. Viking esque, Arabic, African, Mongolian, Greek and Roman, Egyptian or Japanese and Chinese fantasy realms for me please. We want to write about things which take us to a new world, we don't want to explore the same old stale universe again and again. Arabic and Egyptian socities of Magi and thier respective guilds, Nordic warrior socities of shapeshifters, Mongolian orcs who wish to conquer much of the ancient world. A massive war between a Ming styled empire and thier allies with a Japanese samurai force for one penisula. Native american druid tribes who go on pilgrimages to awaken thier chosen ones, large magi empires of aztecs and incas, with eleaborate war games and massive pyramids to channel thier magic powers...

Science fiction will mostly be fan fiction dealing with space marines and polictics, with real world problems in guise of classic space marines, genestealer cults performing acts of terrorism ala al-quieda, hidden necron spies in massive industrial cartels corrupting powerful institutions like business and government, Dark and High eldar pirates that attack worldwide computer and internet programs to confuse worlds, through off thier planetary defenses and come down, raid important resources and vanish in a moment. Massive run down sectors and industrial cities filled with warring tribes of orcs. All the while space marines and imperial guard commanders must either butt heads or come together in agreement to deal with these large scale problems. I don't want to focus on Chaos too much but they will definately be a corrupting and more subtle influence masking itself as the imperium but ultimately trying to fragment and weaken it (more sinister and intelligent chaos legions are needed such as Alpha legion). Tau will be a fickle and opportunistic allied empire at best, or a domineering tyrannical force when it feels strong.

Finally hybrid fiction? crossing the domain of sci fi and fantasy? hmmmmm... this is where it gets a little bit Wapanese. Massive magic and or steam powdered mecha, huge flying air ships, phyrexians, thracian, dominirians, ... meh, still in the works.
