In a postwar Lylat, not even the simplest of missions are all they appear to be. The Star Fox team struggles with both increased crime and themselves as they come to terms with what two wars have done to their home.

Following the numerous victories over Andross, two members of the Star Fox team are called in by a large media corporation to retell experiences of their early lives, how they got trained, and how they joined the team.
