Desperate to save both Chloe and Arcadia Bay's populous, she mercilessly manipulates the past in order to save the future. This story follows a past Max, Chloe and Victoria as they struggle to enact the instructions in these letters from tomorrow. A slightly satirical AU.

Max did the "right thing" and accepted Chloe's fate, saving Arcadia Bay from the tornado. After Chloe's funeral she went home to Seattle to deal with her devastating depression, wondering why she still has her time powers. There, she discovers where she went wrong, her true purpose, and goes back seven months to send her younger self on a journey to save both Chloe and Rachel.

In 2017, Max Caulfield, 42, is going through an old photo album from 1993 when she suddenly travels into a photo of a blue morpho. Follows the events in 'Obscura'. I recommend reading that before starting this story. Max is trying to process all the traumatic events that she's endured due to her now lost ability to rewind and travel in time. All while trying to be in relationship with now alive Chloe, rebuild a lost friendship with Victoria, who's rediscovering her own ability and deal with a returning foe.

A willing sacrifice derailed. A nascent love revealed. A town devastated beyond belief. When Chloe Price is given the second chance she neither wanted nor expected, she finds new purpose in doing the impossible: giving a damn about Arcadia Bay. [Post Ep-5 Pricefield.]

Then Max realized that maybe there was another way. A way to fix all this destruction and chaos. And she promised herself to take that chance, whatever the cost. Because she knew, after all that happened, she would do anything for Chloe Price. She focused on the photograph and its borders began to shake a little. And then, she went back through it for the last time...

My idea of the scratched-off Hospital ending show in the code that was leaked after Chrysalis came out back in January.
