Author has written 5 stories for StarTrek: The Next Generation, Law and Order: CI, Walker, Texas Ranger, Battlestar Galactica, Blue Bloods, Gunsmoke, and V, 1984.

I am 60 years of age. I spent 4 years active duty (2 on a carrier-USS Hancock CVA-19) in the United States Navy. I spent 11 years as a police officer-both as a municipal officer and a county deputy. I also spent 30 years as a preacher for the churches of Christ. I am married to the love of my life, Andrea, and we have one child (Thomas age 27) who is known on fanfiction as Samurai02008. I have been working on my Star Trek novel for the biggest part of a year now, and I saw Thomas putting his work here so I thought I would put mine here.

I have a very vivid imagination, and I have been thinking about the Star Trek novel for many years, going over it in my mind, acting it out piece by piece. I want to continue doing this and hopefully before too much longer complete it.

My Law & Order story is one that I need to get off my chest because it keeps getting in the way of my thinking about my Star Trek novel. I don't think they told the whole story; they left it hanging and I wasn't satisfied. So I started up a crossover with Blue Bloods and CSI NY. Once I get this out of the way I will be able to think clearly about the rest of the novel. But I will not spend all my time on this one either. I am going to have to divide my time between the three because I see importance in all three of them.

I love to play Call of Duty MW, MW2 and Ghost Recon AWF. I like movies.

My real love is my loyalty to my heavenly Father. I read his word daily, and I work to keep my stories clean without foul language or sex or extreme violence. I have several debate websites where I have debated subjects like the inspiration of the Bible with atheists, etc.,. As the original Battlestar Galactica leaned heavily into Mormonism because its creator was a Mormon, my stories will lean heavily toward's Christianity because I am a Christian. I think that is just the way we all operate. This is why you will find references in my Star Trek novel to Capt. McDaniel being a member of the church of Christ. Because that is the church of which I am a member. I mean no offense by it, but we all write from our own perspectives, and I wouldn't dictate to someone else how they should write, and I don't want them dictating to me either. I am a devout Christian who is determined to walk with Jesus Christ on a daily basis. I will do my best to lead others to him, but I won't shove it down anyone's throat. I am merely the sower of the seed. If anyone wants to discuss religion with me he/she may contact me at jerry@challenge2.org and I will be more than happy to discuss anything with them.

Thank you for your time.
