A large scar was visible on Barry's inner forearm. It wasn't just a normal scar though. It was a brand. The numbers 0227 had been permanently burnt into his skin. Joe felt himself be consumed with white hot rage when he looked at it. They had branded his son like he was some kind of animal. (Part 2 to The First Cut is the Deepest. Can be read by itself though.)

There's a new, vengeful meta-human in Central City out to get the Flash. With hypnotic and telepathic power, the Mind Magician forces Barry to abandon his hero persona and use his powers for wicked intent. With no control of his actions, the team must try and stop Barry before his mind collapses under the influence of evil. I don't anything related to the CW or the Flash.

When Joe opened his guest room to a terrified, traumatized little boy on the worst night of his life, he expected it to be temporary. He never imagined that the guest room would become the little boy's bedroom—that the house would become his home, and the Wests his family.

The fallout from Zoom's identity reveal sends a shockwave through the team, leaving in its wake remnants of fear, terror, and crushing sadness. On top of it all, Barry hears the whispers of V9. He has tasted true speed-and now it is calling him back. (Sequel to my one-shot "Aspic of the World," in which Trajectory injects Barry with the V9 instead of herself.)

Barry could feel himself breaking down, the corners of his mind starting to unravel, having already reached his limit a long time ago. Each day, he felt more pieces of himself—his identity, who he was—being chipped away with each experiment they did on him.

After Zoom crashes through the West household, dragging Henry Allen with him, Joe West pictures the worst. He cannot lose his son, but he also knows his son also cannot a father. Panicked, Joe, Iris, Caitlin, and Cisco race to the scene of the crime. Set immediately after 2x22 "Invincible."

SPOILERS FOR 2X22 INVINCIBLE Barry stayed in that living room for an hour before the others found him. He held his father's body in his arms and let his tears drop onto the blood soaked shirt.
