Many other books. Garth Nix and Philip Pullman are some favorites.

Narnian Walrus dislikes...

Self-insert fanfiction. Appear for two lines in a cameo, fine. Pair yourself with a character and die.

Writer's Block. A given.

Artist's Block. More frustrating because it's harder to get rid of the evidence.

A clean room. I think clean gives me as much asthma trouble as messy, just from stress instead of dust.

Author's Notes within the text. I want story. Not your commentary. Lewis does it too, damn him!
