This girl she can't speak English only Korean. Her name's Ye-ji. But she's so ADORABLE. My friend, Kelly in the same grade as me, can speak English and all. As well as Korean, so I was asking her how to say hi and bye, because I want to communicate with her. And she's in the same bus as me, so it would be really cute. So she taught me the word for hi/bye: Onyoing. So I said it to her. And apparently I said it the best my American accent would allow. Apparently it sounded really funny. So she started laughing. And I got really discouraged, but she said hi to me, and I was happy, so everytime we saw each other we'd say hi. One day she gave me a not with a Korean character on it. I asked Kelly what it meant, she said it meant onee-meaning older sister. I was so excited I just went to Ye-Ji and hugged her saing I love her. After a while I realised I said it exactly like Tohru. But Ye-Ji kinda my Kisa. I adore her so very much. So sad but as of um March 2006, she left India, never to come back. Sad isn't it? |
