![]() Author has written 9 stories for Danny Phantom, Prétear, Kodomo No Omocha, Star Trek: 2009, Hey Arnold, Red Data Girl/RDG レッドデータガール, Star Wars, and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. Note to all loyal fan-fiction writers: I will keep writing; however, it needs to be at my own pace. I appreciate all the encouragement to keep writing, but I have a life outside of Fan-fiction and Fictionpress that can not be forgotten. If you wish to review my stories, constructive critic and/or ways you think I need to improve are very appreciated. However, all these reviews urging me to keep writing and place my life on hold are not the type of reviews I need. I value all my reviewers and their input; on this site, we are not judging based on age or other stereotypes used in day-to-day life. We are writing stories to improve our plot development skills. Note to Young Fan-fiction Writers: I wanted to give a big shout-out to any Fan-fiction writers that are in high-school or college. As a college graduate trying to find employment, I want to say to all of you one simple thing: All of you have the potential to be the next generation of creative writers! I joined this site when I was in my first year of high school and have stayed connected with the community of Fan-fiction and her sister site, Fictionpress, ever since. My talent has developed from reading many stories on this site and, much later on, taking up my quill and placing ink to paper once again. Fan-fiction is a great site for young, aspiring writers to practice an essential writing skill that many people that go straight into original stories have trouble with: Plot Development. In Fan-fiction, the characters and settings are already there. All you're doing is "re-inventing" the plot based on your dissatisfaction with certain elements in the original plot. As long as you give credit to the original authors, this is a perfectly legal and acceptable practice. I hope that all writers on this amazing site will keep encouraging each other; especially the teenagers and young adults, like myself. Keep Writing!!!!!!!!! Personal Section: I am sad to say that I don't remember the sister in Christ this came from, but I wanted to honor her sharing of a testimony anyway: Read this if you believe in God, and read it even if you don't. A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the all, a ey, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won't repost it? I found this gem from Above the Winter Moonlight, a fellow brother in Christ: If you believe in Jesus Christ put this in your profile and don't just ignore this, because in the Bible it says, ‘If you deny me, I will deny you in front of my Father in the gates of Heaven Jesus had no servants, yet they called him Master... He had no degree, yet they called him Teacher... He had no medicine, yet they called him Healer... He had no army, yet kings feared him... He won no military battles, yet he conquered the World... He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him... He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today Feel honored to serve such a leader who loves us... If you believe in God and Jesus Christ his Son My faith is a part of me, just like it is of anyone else we come in contact with from day to day. I hope you enjoyed my profile and will wish to read my stories in the future! Elizabeth White Out! |
