Right, so...about me...

I've clearly lost my mind somewhere along the way. If you find it, please return it? I'll give you a cookie :D

Instead of updating the Author's Notes on the most recent chapter of my stories, I'm just going to post things I think you ought to know about them here.

The first thing you ought to know is that I have a full-time job that requires me to work a lot of extra hours, so my already limited writing time is reduced even more. As a result, updates will be annoyingly sporadic. I don't have any intentions of ever abandoning any of the fics I post here, but it could be a significant amount of time between updates :/

The Madman with a Box

This story is a Doctor Who/Harry Potter crossover fic, which is giving me a lot of difficulty because I actually know very little about Doctor Who. I started writing it for a friend of mine, to cheer her up, so I don't think I'll ever be able to bring myself to abandon it. But, because it's for a friend, I am extra concerned with making it awesome. This means it takes longer to write/edit/stop freaking out over and post.

Update 5/18/13: I'm thinking of skipping Chapter Four, and going straight to Chapter Five; Chapter Four's mostly back story/conversation (the trouble I'm having is making the conversation come out the way I want, with everyone still in character), so I feel like I can skip it for now and come back to it later and have everything still work out. I feel really bad that I've kept everyone waiting for so long, and I think if I do it this way I'll have an update for you guys sooner :P

So Much for Staying Out of Trouble

An Iron Man/Harry Potter crossover fic that kind of accidentally started after watching The Avengers and Iron Man, and has grown from the one-shot I originally envisioned to a potential multi-story series-I have the plans laid out in my head but have only written a few chapters of the first one. I am having so much fun with this, you have no idea :)

Update 5/18/13: Chapter Four is pretty much done, but while re-reading what I've already posted, to make sure I didn't accidentally create any plot holes or anything, I found an alarming (to me, at least) number of typos. So, instead of finishing the next chapter, I'm going to be fixing that :P I'm going to try to post Chapter Four before the end of the month.

I also have Harry Potter/Dragon Age and Harry Potter/Twilight crossovers planned (seeing a bit of a pattern here?), but those may or may not ever see the light of day. At the moment, my focus is on "The Madman with a Box" and "So Much For Staying Out of Trouble".

When I'm not writing, I'm usually reading. I read lots of fanfiction. Lots. It takes five minutes to scroll down the list of bookmarks in my browser -_-
