![]() I like to review, and to review, and to review~ When I review, I tell you what I liked, and what I didn't like about your story. I tend to be finicky about grammar and spelling, although most of the time, I'm too damn lazy to type everything I'd like to correct in the text (I'm not your personal bitch, you know). I admit that I am not a perfect person, however I would like to believe that to a certain extent, I stand on higher ground compared to most of the crap that's posted on this website. Basically, you pass my standards if you have a good command of the English language. I don't plan on adding anything to my favorites list, but I may change my mind later on. Another thing, the excuse "English is not my native/first language." does not rest well with me. So what if you're not American or English? Anyone can write really well regardless of their native language. That is, if you put your wholehearted effort into it. For instance, proofreading your work or adding authenticity to your writing by researching about unfamiliar concepts you put in your story. If you don't really feel comfortable in writing in English, then you have several options. One, ask for help from someone who's good at it. Two, practice. Three, write in your native language. Please, for the love of God, consider these options before posting your work, as these really badly written fics are part of the reason why fanfiction has such a terrible reputation. What's with the strange screen name, you ask? I wanted the name 'Alice', but to no surprise of mine, it was already unavailable. There probably are a ton of other Alice[insertrandomnumberhere] out there, so that makes me the 'nth' Alice in this place. With that said, if you want to call me by some name other than "TheNthAlice", kindly use Alice. :D |
