Okay. I think I've finally settled on a pen name that successfully combines my love of writing and fandom.

Who or what is The Precious?

The Precious is my 3lb. Toshiba Tecra R700 laptop with an Intel Core i5 processor and Solid State hard drive that allows me to indulge my creative writing addiction almost every morning, noon and night.

Obligatory Stuff About Moi:

I am, for lack of a better way of putting it, a work in progress. :)

I've been in love with storytelling since the age of 8 and over two decades later, am still addicted to other worlds. It started with Oz, from which I happily traveled to the likes of Narnia, Prydain, and Middle Earth. These days, I'm touring Thedas.

I try to pay back this debt of the imagination by dabbling in both poetry and fiction. It's been said that it takes at least 10,000 hours of practice to achieve mastery in a skill. I'm here to chip away at my 10,000 hours - I can't think of a more enjoyable way to do it, can you?

Helpful, constructive criticism is welcomed with open arms - I relish the thought of growing and learning more within the craft I adore.
