I am Team Vampire (with the exception of Seth and Leah... they are awesome!). I don't even care about the supposed love triangle that came from outer space-- Bella's hardly a prize I would inflict on anyone. I just don't like Jacob Black as a character too much. When he has to face the consequences of his actions, maybe. But writing a lame excuse in the FAQs to defend his actions, when it should be obvious, means something was lacking in the books. I think I need a better reason to like him besides Stephenie Meyer suddenly falling in love with him. Maybe he should have ended up with Bella after all... she IS the other fail! character. That being said, I'd rather read about Edward with someone BETTER than Bella leeching off someone else. For example... these random Jasper x Bella stories. Jasper's a blank slate and Jackson's adorable, but if you don't like Edward, writing about Bella and the next sensitive, quiet gentleman vampire with nothing else known about him is even lamer. Then again, Bella's very self-insert, of course she'd be the one to live vicariously through.
