When war is waged out on west England, Jake English is called to serve his part in the military guard though after some years he sustains a great injury in battle and soon loses those close to him. In light of better conditions he is drafted to the U.S. military but soon finds more than he bargained for there when he falls head over heels for a stay at home father and his kids.
