Fanfic is a hobby/outlet for me to practice honing my writing skills while waiting on edits for my original pieces. I strive to continue to improve on my art and am never satisfied with my work.

I grew up with TMNT and while I love all the boys, that red masked bruiser is my longtime favorite. What can I say we have similar attitudes. His little brother has sure come in a close second if not a tie as of late. You try writing Michelangelo and not adoring him by the end of it, I dare ya. ;)

I tend to write in 2012 verse, unless I'm writing an adult story. Then I pull visual from the 2014 verse, but tend to use 2012 story line (couplings and backstory).

Original Characters: It's my goal to give you an original character only when I need her for the story and a canon will not work. You should find the character to have real depth, personality, history, and a story to tell. I also like women to be strong, independent characters and not in constant need of rescue, so there's that too.

Lately my works have turned to dealing with deeper real life issues and how characters cope, survive and heal through such things. There is always a strong focus on family and friendships in my pieces, which I think the turtles lend themselves to.

Have Dinner With Me (HDWM) has an AU, Their Side of The City. The AU links HDWM, Zoe Part I, my friend Illusionna's fanfic The Other Side of The City into a pretty awesome universe. It is co-authored by both Illusionna and Phoenix500, both are incredibly talented writers.
