This is a joint account set up by myself (sheppardkid) and Jedi40. We started writing Stargate Atlantis stories about a year and a half ago and seem to be unable to stop now. We've got quite a few in the works at the moment, most of which revolve around our original characters- Captain Jedi Wilson and Captain Sk Kelley. However, we know that the main point of fanfic is to focus on the characters of the show so-never fear- Sheppard and Co. make many appearances and do have/will have their own stories. That being said, it's time to introduce our main original characters:

ATA gene level: third behind Sheppard and Jedi

Area of expertise: Besides having a relatively strong use of the ATA gene, she was top of her class in the Air Force Academy, excelling in piloting various types of aircraft (including: B-2A Spirit bomber, V-22 Osprey, HH-60 Pave Hawk, and F-22A Raptor). She is versed in hand-to-hand combat and earned high marks in marksmanship (P-90 and 9mm). She was chosen to join the Atlantis expedition based on her innate ability to pilot aircraft, as well as her skills in tactical and strategic analysis. A keen attraction to adventure and excitement are what prompted her to accept the 2 year contract.

ATA gene level: Second behind Sheppard

Military branch: Marines

Area of expertise: Besides having a strong use of the gene, she was top of her class at marksmanship (strong in use with the 9mm and P90) and some basic tactical training. She was chosen by Brigadier General Jack O’Neill of the SGC for the top two reasons listed above. Having no family alive on Earth she agreed to the 2 year contract for the Atlantis expedition, when said two years were up she could reenlist for as long as she wanted to.

Aside from the two OCs listed above, Jedi40 and I also voice a number of other original characters as well as many characters we all know and love. Jedi40 generally writes for Rodney, Carson, Zelenka, General Landry, Walter Harriman, Halling, Daniel Jackson, and Ladon while I mainly write for Sheppard, Teyla, Ronon, Major Lorne, Weir, Woolsey, Mitchell, Carter, Teal'c, and Kolya. And of course we each have our various OCs that we do.

Our hope is that everyone who reads our stories enjoys them and feels like they were part of the adventure. That's part of the reason why we have a majority of the stories centering around Kelley and Wilson...and we also thought it'd be cool. ;-D And if you love whump then you shouldn't be disappointed with these stories. Be warned though, the majority of whump typically DOES NOT occur to the team you're more than likely thinking of BUT they do get whumped at times.
