Let me tell you how the Twilight formula works. 1. Meet Bella, a totally insecure and average teenage girl. She's just moved into a new town, which she hates. You don't even know how she looks so that you can just easily slip into her story and get yourself involved. 2. Meet Edward. He's this Adonis, god-like creature whose dangerous side only makes him more alluring to the average teenage girl. A good 5/6 of the book is describing him. Bella loves him, and since you're so attached to Bella at this point, you also love him. 3. Insert hyped up, over-the-top description of kissing and snuggling between Bella and Edward. 4. Meet Jacob. He's a werewolf and a kind of guy-next-door. He also has a dangerous allure about him. You love him because of his abs. 5. Oh look, it's a lame love triangle. 5.5. Oh, and you need a plot too huh? Well here *scribbles really fast* look a story! And that's how it works. Source(s):Here is the condensed version of Twilight. |
