HAIR: short green hair and slight sliver highlights with curly bangs in the front.

EYE COLOR: grayish purple it may look black

PERSONALITY: compassionate doesn’t like to fight unless she has to and she has a thirst for knowledge loves hanging out with friends loyal to friends and teachers. She can be shy around new people but she hides it and she is observant.

AGE: 18 or 19

Favorite Foods: Tomato Juice, leek soup, ramen, and blood.

Family: her mother is a vampire her father is a weapon specialist but her mother is an assistant to a doctor.

Hobbies: reading usually comics but she will also read about animals and teen novels, medical, or psychology books.

Dislikes: arrogant people and people who do not believe girls should be ninja. I hate vampires who believe that they are better than everyone else and those who hate humans. She has quite a few human friends and she will not tolerate anyone hurting children so child abusers beware!

Skills: short range kunai. She is effective in Earth style she can pull minerals from the ground and make emergency vitamins. My lightning style is effective. She can stretch her charka into puppet-like strings that extend for possible long range healing jutsus.

Dreams: to become the first hanyo (half-vampire half-human) to be a medic ninja in her family.

Anything special we should know about her?

She admires her older teammate Tiger with her whole heart. Tiger also scares the crap out of her. She may have a boyfriend but who he is… well you have to wait. Mariko is diligent and always wants to do her best even when she gets distracted or if she needs a confidence boost. What is my favorite color? I have to say a cool lavender or bluish-green like an ocean view. I also like a little orange and black as long as it is not the only two colors in an outfit. I believe I am not that concerned about fashion I mean sure things should blend or go together but it’s not my main concern and I don’t like gossip. I cannot swim so water jutsus are out I’m not afraid of it but when half of the blood in your body is repelled by H2O it’s pretty hard to get near it. How can I walk in the sun if I’m a vampire? Well that is simple I am half-vampire and half-breeds as we are sometimes called or insulted if you want to say that, we don’t have the weakness of burning in the sun. Of course I don’t remember the last vampire I know that burned in the sun they would probably just come out on cloudy days instead of avoiding the sun totally.

What kind of music do I like or can I play anything? Good question I can play the flute and I love to hear my native peoples’ music since my mother is Japanese I love to hear her or anyone sing in Japanese. I cannot sing to save my life and neither can my dad.

What is my favorite type of weapon? Well considering that my dad is a weapon specialist I have to say the simple kunai and other short throwing weapons. I love the diversity a skilled user can do with a knife or shuriken. I would love to learn how to use a thin metal wire wrap it around a kunai and throw it or slash an attacker or just twirl it over my head and listen to it wiz. If I could I would get different color wires match them with my favorite knifes and go out with them all concealed. I’d like to surprise my enemies with something unexpected.

If you had to guess what is your biggest weakness what would it be? That is a great question. I think my answer would be … … my compassion. I am willing to look on the bright side and give others a second chance. I also want to try to look for the good in others even if I doubt it is there because it reminds me that kindness can take all kinds of different shapes and colors. That you’re not born with it you have to find kindness as you go through your life so I think it is important to always remember that and treat others the way you want to be treated. I think that is my one of biggest strengths.

OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE:

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered for having cultivated such valuable lessons as: knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate, teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch, and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion, or a band-aid to a student, but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband, churches became businesses, and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents Truth and Trust, his wife Discretion, his daughter Responsibility, and his son Reason.
