My name is Mercedes, and I am a ninth grader in Highschool. My birthday is February 15 (I really don't like how it's so close to Valentine's day). My favorite show is NCIS, and my second favorite is tied between White Collar and Covert Affairs. I'm one of those nerds at school that knows the answer to almost every question, haha! I actually ENJOY school, which is something that can't be said for practically EVERYONE else at my school. I'm EXTREMELY sarcastic (get used to it), but I try to refrain myself. My favorite books are the Harry Potter series and the Eragon series (yes, I love fiction) and my favorite movies are the Pirates of the Carribean movies, the National Treasure movies, and almost every single romantic comedy out there, I've seen a lot of them. The Harry Potter movies are good, but very dissapointing compared to the books, so I don't really put them up there with my favorites. Someday, I plan to move to Europe (probably Italy) and become a writer. Or move out west to become a TV writer. It all depends. I have the greatest friends in the world, don't even try to argue otherwise, you'll lose, haha! I like a very wide range of music. My family got me hooked on country and other bands like Aerosmith, and Queen. My community got me to listen to pop and rock. My friend got me into japanese vocaloid music. And recently my dad got me hooked on a lot of alternative and guitar music. And I have ALWAYS loved Irish music. So yeah, I pretty much cover the broad spectrum of music. I'm a singer, and am in my school's Women's Choir. Also, I am a band geek. I don't play an instrument, but I am in my school Marching Band. I do Color Guard, and over the winter I do Winter Guard (go figure). If I'm not studying or doing homework, then I'm reading or writing, or outside in nine degree weather practicing for Winter Guard. So, that's me, pretty boring and average, I know. But I'm happy, and love my life.
